THE INTERNET TRADE COMMISSION is proud to offer our visitors dispute / resolution help with all your internet transactions. Its founders believe that consumers needed a place to go to launch a dispute that will have a real impact on a business both positively and negatively. When an internet business treats a consumer unfairly they must realize it has an impact on their reputation. On the other hand THE INTERNET TRADE COMMISSION also realizes the consumer sometimes launch unfair complaints. Our company’s solution to this problem is offering an unbiased dispute / resolution program. When we find in favor of the customer we will request in good faith the company respects our decision and makes a reasonable effort to resolve the complaint with the consumer. When we find in favor of the company no adverse action will be taken nor will the complaint have any bearing on their reputation. If we see a pattern of complaints going unresolved we will request our SEAL OF EXCELLENCE be removed from being showcased on their website.
The Internet Trade Commission will only accept qualified businesses as members of our organization. Maintaining a positive reputation in the business community is first and foremost on our list of requirements. We also expect the same from the consumers filing any complaints with our company. It is not our goal to allow consumers to use our dispute resolution/arbitration process as a tool for extorting unwarranted refunds from reputable companies. During our years of research on other consumer protection agencies, we found that the degree of fairness often leans toward the business or consumer. We are positive both businesses and consumers alike will find the Internet Trade Commission's dispute resolution process to be a very useful and practical tool.
